My Art
Over the years and since I can remember I have enjoyed drawing and sketching, I do not think I can be classed as an artist, I can not paint for toffee!
But give me a pencil and away I go, so here is a selection of my scribblings with a footnote on how they might have come about (if I can recall that far back)
I sketched these two horses heads in 1997 if I remember right they are from a book, I do not recall asking the horse to strike a pose whilst I got my HB out!
These two rough characters are two footballing greats, this time it was 1998 when pencil touched paper. The top one is the godlike legend of Brian Clough, I have fond memories of hearing and watching him belt orders from the touchline. The bottom one is of Eric Cantona who is probably more famous for his famous karate-style kick at the palace than his footballing exploits.
Now, these three fun-loving Disney cartoon characters were pencilled in and coloured by myself in 1998. I do like a good Disney film, I suppose I have never grown out of the wonder they could portray on to a television.
On a more lighter note and one from my last visit to Orlando, if you can just place yourself in my shoes for an instance. We had just settled down to some light snacking of burger and fries in one of the restaurants in the Animal Kingdom. I had my back to the window when all of a sudden there was this almighty crash and banging on the window behind me, my fries went flying through the air as I jumped out of my skin and back in! I turned to see what had made all this racket and commotion and to my amazement, I was looking straight at a man-sized bloody chipmunk!
I also sketched this one in 1998, but alas I can not remember who this was? I know (or I think) she was an actress in Eastenders. If anyone knows please help me fill in the blanks!
