This is a small collection of my poems, I can also do personalized copies of these poems and I can also write new ones with a personal connection to you, handwritten and signed by me and if needed with a personal message or quote. Contact me for more info.

This is a poem I wrote for my mum on her last visit to sunny North Wales. It was also my first attempt at an Acrostic?

A Mothers Love

A mother's love is plain to see,
More than often it is aimed at me.
Others also do openly agree,
That her love is given, always for free.

Holding it close, but ready is she,
Even if she hears of no plea.
Ready and waiting, that's her guarantee,
Sometimes acting as the referee.

Love is something that she rarely receives,
Oh that of my love, she always deserves.
Viewed from a distance, we can only observe,
Everyone's mother, their love preserved.

This was one of many reviews on this poem "The thoughts here are a wonderful tribute to those who carried us inside themselves for months. Very nice work. Keep writing."

This is a poem that my Grandma used to tell us. It is a short, funny nonsense poem that has won me some competitions and many laughs.

My Super Gran

Once upon a time
when the birds shit lime
and the monkeys chewed tobacco.

The little pig run
with his finger up his bum
to see what was the matter.

A review of my super gran poem; you have an awesome Gran! The funny little poem and I can only imagine how little kids would laugh at this poem!

"Funny one! It hit the ground with the humour right off the bat, and no problem getting a visual on this one."

This Jacket Fits Perfectly

Once upon a time

When I lost my mind

And they realized

I was a nutter.

The doctor did come

With jacket in hand

To make things

So much better.

Searching for Spirits

I often go out and search for spirits

Not in a graveyard

I do have some limits.

Finding some odd ghostly goings on

Will make my hairs

All stand up on end.

Looking for evidence of life after death

Misty bodies that

Have taken their last breath.

Holding hands with some strangers

Is anyone there? They ask

 With no replies, I’d wager.

Asking for answers whilst using a board

Could bring trouble

From that evil dark lord.
